St. Lucas Scrip Campaign

What is Scrip? St. Lucas purchase gift certificates, or scrip, from popular retailers at a discount, which the retailers are happy to give because they're guaranteeing themselves customers and some goodwill advertising. You then buy the gift certificates from St. Lucas at face value. The difference in price is kept by the church for much needed programs and repairs. 

The Scrip Program has contributed significantly to the Sunday School windows and the roofing projects. Recently sales have slowed just when the boiler project needs the contributions from scrip sales to help pay off the loan from the Salary Endowment Fund.  Starting this weekend we will focus on the program. The goal is to sell $500 of scrip gift cards a week. I will set up a table in the narthex between the 9am and 10:30 services. Please stop by and ask questions and order your scrip cards.  The cards make great gifts, are good for monitoring a budget and are handy just to have.
