Community Garden

"You’re never alone in the garden. There are songs of the birds and the hum of the bees,
The rustle of wind in the foliage, And chatter of squirrels in the bordering trees,
The cheery “Hello” from a neighbor, the scents of the basil and dill,
And the Spirit of our Blessed Savior, who dwells there and evermore will."

When I walk through the garden, I see God’s work in every bed – the bees and butterflies pollinating the plants, the microbes breaking down the compost to release nutrients for the veggies, the plants sucking up the nutrients and soaking up the sunshine, turning them into sugars, carbs, and vitamins.

God’s bounty spread out for us.

"Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!"

Take a walk through the garden; witness the miracles for yourself.
