Cindy's Corner Cafe at St. Lucas Lutheran Church is a free community lunch ministry built on grace, gathering, and generosity. Rooted in the Lutheran belief that grace is freely given, Cindy's Corner Cafe offers a warm meal and a welcoming table to all who come through the door —
no cost, no judgement, just a place to belong.
It's more than a meal; it's a chance to sit together,
share fellowship, and experience the generosity of a community that cares.

WELCA Pork & Sauerkraut Supper Friday, November 6, 2026 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm (Carryout 5-6pm & Dine-In 6-8pm) in the St. Lucas Gym.
Tickets are $12.00 for adults/teens (13 and older), $8.00 for 5-12 years old, and Free for children 4 and younger. All are invited!
Thanksgiving Feast 2026 at Cindy’s Corner Café will take place on Wednesday, November 25, 2026 from Noon until 1:00pm in the St. Lucas Gym
Cindy’s Corner Café is in need of the following:
*Willing volunteer hands & feet on Wednesdays from 10am to 1:00pm
to help prepare & serve food to our guests and to help with cleanup.

*Cans of ground coffee! As the weather gets colder,
our neighbors and guests will be drinking more hot beverages.
If you would like to donate, please leave the coffee in the narthex or drop it off at the main office 9:00am to 3:00pm Tuesday-Friday.

2. What is your favorite part of serving in the Café? My favorite part of serving at the Café is the people. I really enjoy interacting with the guests, getting to know them and creating a welcoming experience. I love being able to brighten someone’s day, even in a small way.
3. What is your primary job in the Café? Cooking and cleaning up.
4. How long have you served in the Café? Five years.
5. Please share some little known facts about yourself (family, hobbies, pets, favorite TV shows, favorite movies, favorite foods, favorite music, favorite place you have visited, etc.): I have a fur baby (Gabby) who just turned 16. I Love Bravo TV (Housewives). I have been all over the USA…my favorite place is Hawaii.
6. How often do you serve in the Café? Once a week or when filling in for Melissa.
7. What are some of your favorite Café meals/meals that are served in the Café? Chicken Alfredo and Spaghetti!
8. Anything else you would like to share? I love the people that I have met working here!
Starting in October 2026, Jessica will be substituting for Melissa Demski when Melissa is unable to be in the Café.
