About the event
A Lutheran Advent Compline is a quiet, candlelit, evening prayer service during Advent (the season before Christmas) based on ancient monastic traditions, offering a contemplative space with psalms, hymns, scripture, confession, and the Nunc Dimittis (Simeon's Song) to prepare for Christ's coming, focusing on peace, rest, and hope, distinct from regular Sunday worship by its focus on reflection and lack of sermon/communion.
