Feast of Abundance

The Stewardship of Life Institute (SOLI) has granted St. Lucas $1,000 for the purpose of serving a meal to members of our community in the Old South End. This “Feast of Abundance” is meant to forge better connections between our ministry site and the surrounding community. Pastor Paul asked the Evangelism Committee and the Outreach Board to jointly plan and carry out this event. The joint committee has chosen Saturday, December 13 from noon-2:00 pm for the Christmas themed feast. The committee is challenging the members and friends of St. Lucas to match the $1,000 grant with cash or in-kind gifts. We want to have a wonderful meal, as well as gift cards to give away for people to use during the holiday season. Please consider providing funds and/or making salad or dessert for the meal.
